Male Osprey seen 28 March

                                           Threave/ Castle Douglas osprey nest 28 March 2012

Visited the Threave castle/ Castle Douglas osprey site today with my son between 12 pm and 2 pm. We were told that the male osprey had been seen at the nest that morning around 8 am, but we did not see it.

The path to the osprey viewing platform has been upgraded - most impressive.
