With the help of volunteers, Discovering Dumfries and Galloway's Past will be using geophysics to survey this site from 9 to 13 October 2012. with an Open Day on Saturday 13 October to explain the findings.

The Threave Estate Community Archaeology Project then plan (if funding is approved) to carry out a two week dig on the site. More details to follow.
